Mysterious Forest
Price range: $150.00 through $850.00
Mysterious Forest is an exploration of atmosphere rather than a portrait of any one place. I worked in a restrained palette of black, white, and gray, allowing shadows, light, and texture to tell the story. Except for the tree branches, I created the painting with paper towels instead of brushes, pressing and moving paint to build the forest's layered surfaces. The unconventional process gave the work a sense of depth and uncertainty, as though the landscape might continue beyond what the eye can see. I love the way a forest can feel peaceful and mysterious at once. This painting invites you to linger at that threshold.

Fine Art Prints
Handle prints with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surface. Framing with UV-protective glass or acrylic is recommended for unmounted prints.
About Our Canvas Prints

Prints with Hand-Applied Oil Touch-Ups
These prints contain individually applied painted details. Handle them as you would an original painting, avoiding contact with the painted surface and allowing adequate protection during framing or display. Add 3 weeks for hand-applied oil paint to cure before shipping.
